Understand l Ideate l Making l Critique
We began the class with an intro lecturette about Type and Hierarchy, this showed us the key things to remember and include when refining our brochure design. This presentation included mainly things I already knew about; Leading, Kerning, Justified paragraphs, Orphans/Widows etc. Although it allowed me to rethink my text and remember things such as hanging paragraphs and to set the second line longer than the first, as the penultimate line longer than the last.
