Kaitiakitanga Rationale - Parallax Website 

For my Puna project I chose to do ice cream shops around Wellington. I created a fun whimsical pastel brochure which was mostly directed at kids however, for Kaitiakitanga, I wanted to aim to a slightly wider demographic and create a website that was both whimsical and fun but also slightly conservative and less pastel pink. I chose to keep elements such as the handwritten type and the almost childish drawings to keep the playful side whilst using a sleek navigation bar and grid like pages to rein in the design. I wanted to get across the story of how ice cream/gelato was made while at the same time create an informative website that would advertise one of my original sites; Kaffee Eis.
